The time for speeches, rallies, and yard signs is coming to an end. Now, the power shifts entirely to you.
Early voting for the Montgomery County primary begins on Tuesday, February 17th, and runs through February 27th, with Election Day following on March 3rd, 2026.
This election is not just about choosing a name on a ballot; it is about choosing the direction of our community. Will we continue to be the freest, safest, and most prosperous county in Texas? Or will we hand the keys of our booming economy and emergency management over to a career government bureaucrat learning on the job?
Before you head to the polls, I want to give you the facts. Here is why I am asking for your vote, and why my record proves I am the best choice to lead Montgomery County forward.
1. We Back the Blue with Funding, Not Just Slogans
In a time when the radical Left has tried to defund and demoralize law enforcement, Montgomery County took the opposite approach. I didn’t just put a bumper sticker on my car; I funded the mission.
- Doubled Public Safety Spending: We increased the public safety budget from $108 million to $215 million to keep pace with our explosive population growth.
- Historic Pay Parity: We secured massive pay raises for our deputies so we can recruit and retain the absolute best officers in Texas.
- Hunting Down Predators: I partnered with our Constables to fund specialized task forces, including the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit and the Animal Cruelty Task Force, to put the worst criminals behind bars.
This is why my campaign is proudly endorsed by the largest law enforcement organizations in the state, including the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT), the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Association (MCLEA), and our local Sheriffs and Constables.
2. Real Fiscal Responsibility and Tax Cuts
True conservatism means respecting the taxpayer. I promised to run Montgomery County like a business, and the results speak for themselves.
By broadening our commercial tax base and cutting wasteful spending, my administration has successfully lowered the county tax rate by approximately 20% since I took office. We proved that you can build new infrastructure, fully fund the police, and provide top-tier county services without nickel-and-diming the hardworking families who live here.
3. Executive Leadership in Times of Crisis
The County Judge is the Director of Emergency Management. This is an executive role that requires immediate, decisive action—not someone who is used to handling traffic tickets and small claims disputes.
I have led Montgomery County through 13 natural disasters, including 8 federal declarations.
- During Hurricane Beryl and the Winter Freeze, I bypassed the bureaucracy and held utility monopolies like CenterPoint directly accountable to get your power restored faster.
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, I refused to bow to federal mandates. I kept Montgomery County OPEN, saving thousands of jobs, protecting our small businesses, and defending your constitutional rights.
I don’t wait for Washington D.C. to save us. I lead from the front.
4. Integrity and Accountability with “Teeth”
My opponent talks about integrity as a campaign slogan; I put it into state law.
I successfully fought for legislative changes at the State Capitol to create a Montgomery County Ethics Commission that actually has teeth. Today, our commission has subpoena power and the ability to levy real civil fines. We drained the local swamp, broke up the “good ol’ boy” networks, and ensured that no politician in this county is above the law.
Make Your Voice Heard
The choice in this election is clear. You can vote for empty rhetoric and decades spent in the government system, or you can vote for a battle-tested executive who has delivered safer streets, lower taxes, and a booming economy.
The establishment is hoping that conservative voters stay home. Do not let them win.
Make a plan to vote. Take your family, text your neighbors, and let’s send a loud, undeniable message that Montgomery County will remain the crown jewel of Texas.
