Merry Christmas, Montgomery County: A Message of Faith, Family, and Hope for 2026

As we gather with our loved ones this December, the hustle and bustle of county business quiets down, and we are reminded of what truly matters. From my family to yours, I want to wish every resident of Montgomery County – from The Woodlands to Conroe, Magnolia to East County – a very Merry Christmas.

The True Reason for the Season

For us, Christmas is more than just a holiday; it is a celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In a world that often feels chaotic and divided, the Christmas story reminds us of the promise of peace and the power of redemption.

As I reflect on my time both in the Texas House of Representatives and now as your County Judge, I am constantly reminded that our values – faith, family, and freedom – are the glue that holds this community together. This season, let us take a moment to give thanks for the blessings we enjoy living in this great county and this free nation.

A Year of Resilience

2025 has been a year that tested our mettle. We faced storms that shook our trees and power lines, but they never shook our spirit. I have seen firsthand how neighbors in Montgomery County look out for one another. Whether it was clearing debris after the storms or supporting our local food banks, you have shown the true heart of Texas.

I am incredibly proud of our first responders, law enforcement, and county crews who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to keep our families safe. Their dedication is the greatest gift our community could ask for.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we prepare to turn the calendar to 2026, I am filled with optimism. We have accomplished so much together – lowering tax rates, securing our neighborhoods, and standing firm against government overreach. But our work is not done.

The New Year brings new opportunities to strengthen Montgomery County. As we head into this important election year, I am more committed than ever to preserving the conservative principles that have made our county a beacon of prosperity in Texas.

A Christmas Blessing

May your homes be filled with laughter, your hearts with peace, and your new year with prosperity. Please remember to pray for our men and women in uniform who are away from their families this holiday season.

Thank you for the privilege of serving as your County Judge.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

— Mark Keough, Montgomery County Judge
