In Montgomery County, “Back the Blue” is more than a bumper sticker. It is a way of life. We value safety, we respect the rule of law, and we honor the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our families.
As we approach the election, one message is ringing out loud and clear from the law enforcement community: They trust Judge Mark Keough.
From the Sheriff’s office to the Constable precincts, and from retired legends to the officers on the beat, the law enforcement community has united to endorse Judge Mark Keough for re-election. Here is why the “Thin Blue Line” stands with our County Judge.
A Historic Coalition of Sheriffs
The Office of the Sheriff is the highest law enforcement authority in our county. Judge Keough is honored to have the support of Sheriff Wesley Doolittle, the man currently charged with keeping our streets safe.
But that support runs deeper than just the current administration. Judge Keough has also earned the endorsements of Retired Sheriff Joe Corley and Retired Sheriff Tommy Gage.
To have the endorsement of three generations of Montgomery County Sheriffs is a rare honor. It speaks to a consistency in Judge Keough’s leadership – he respects the legacy of our past while providing the resources needed for our future.
Constables on the Front Lines
Our Constables play a vital role in specialized community safety, and they have seen firsthand how Judge Keough’s administration supports their mission.
- Constable Philip Cash (Precinct 1): Endorsed Judge Keough for his unwavering support of mental health crisis teams. Because Judge Keough listened and secured the necessary funding, Constable Cash was able to deploy full-time deputies dedicated to mental health services, keeping our community safe and getting help to those in crisis.
- Constable David Eason (Precinct 2): Stands with Judge Keough because of his commitment to fighting predatory crime. With the Judge’s backing, Constable Eason’s office has strengthened specialized units like the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force and the Animal Cruelty Unit, putting predators behind bars and protecting the most vulnerable.
The Rank-and-File Stand United
It isn’t just the leadership who backs Keough; it’s the officers in the patrol cars. Judge Keough has received the official endorsements of the major associations representing thousands of officers:
- The Montgomery County Law Enforcement Association (MCLEA)
- The Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas (CLEAT)
- The Houston Police Officers Union (HPOU)
Why do these organizations support Mark Keough? Because he delivers results.
Under Judge Keough’s leadership, public safety spending has nearly doubled – from $108 million in 2019 to $215 million in 2025 – to keep pace with our growth. He fought for historic pay raises to ensure our deputies are paid what they are worth, and he secured state funding for a world-class active shooter training facility.
The Conservative Choice for Safe Streets
Conservative voters know that the first duty of government is public safety. Judge Keough has proven that you can fully fund the police, modernize our jails, and secure our streets – all while lowering the county tax rate.
When you cast your vote for County Judge, stand with the men and women who keep you safe.
Stand with Law Enforcement. Vote Mark Keough.
