About Judge Mark Keough

Mark Keough serves as the County Judge for Montgomery County, acting as the county’s chief administrator and presiding officer of the Commissioners Court. Since taking office in 2019, Judge Keough has defined his tenure through constitutional conservatism, fiscal responsibility, and a commitment to placing the needs of residents above politics. A former member of the Texas House of Representatives (District 15), Mark brought extensive legislative experience to the county level, where he immediately delivered on his “Contract with Montgomery County” by reducing his own salary and successfully removing tolls from the SH 242 flyover.

Before entering public service, Judge Keough spent 26 years in the automotive industry, rising to become a General Sales Manager for Northside Lexus, and served as a senior pastor and educator. He holds master’s degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and Grace Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University. A resident of The Woodlands since 1996, Mark and his wife, Kim, are proud parents of four children. He remains dedicated to keeping Montgomery County safe, open for business, and debt-free.
